The Warm Caramel Universal Heathers cut pile carpet has a heathered design and is perfect for social, homely spaces. Popular within the residential, healthcare and social sectors, it is ideal for use within dementia care homes, nursing and care homes, student accommodation, social housing, hospitality and leisure spaces. The warm brown colour has both light and darker brown flecks and is versatile when paired with most interiors. Universal Heathers Warm Caramel can be used on stairs when stair nosing is installed and is great for heavy contract use.
It has sound-absorbing, anti-static, slip-resistant and stain-resistant properties and can also be used with underfloor heating. Universal Heathers Warm Caramel is available with either an action backing or an impervious gel backing which can be stuck directly to the floor without the use of underlay and gripper rods. The impervious backing prevents any liquids or spills from seeping through the carpet fibres and backing, into the subfloor. Made from 100% polypropylene, the Universal Heathers Warm Caramel broadloom carpet is extremely durable and comes with a 10 Year Heavy Commercial Wear guarantee.

To clean the carpet, we’d recommend using an upright or quality barrel vacuum cleaner fitted with a power-driven rotating brush. Alternatively, you could use a combination beater or brush bar that moves around the carpet pile and mechanically loosens dirt to be removed by the vacuum. This is best suited for low cut pile carpet. To prevent excess fuzzing turn the brush off or change the head when vacuuming loop pile, cut and loop or Berber carpet.
You do not need to use underlay with Universal Heathers Impervious Gel backed carpet as it has an impervious backing. However, if you want to put underlay down, you should use a double-stick underlay without gripper rods as this will put holes into the backing which will void the backing guarantee.
